Oilfield Chemical Division - PT. COSL INDO currently is looking for an HSE Officer with the following details:Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess potential safety and environmental risks within the workplace, and implement controls to mitigate them.
- Develop and manage emergency response plans and drills, ensuring the preparedness of the workforce in case of emergencies such as fires, spills, or other incidents.
- Coordinate and provide safety training programs for employees to raise awareness and ensure their understanding of safety protocols and best practices.
- Generate and maintain safety and environmental performance reports, including incident statistics, safety KPIs, and environmental impact assessments.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization, encouraging employees to take ownership of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Oversee the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste by regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including air and water quality standards, and work on initiatives to reduce the environmental footprint of operations.
- Implement and promote behavior-based safety programs to encourage safe work practices and reduce at-risk behaviors.
- Develop and manage health and wellness initiatives for employees to enhance their overall well-being and reduce workplace-related health issues.
- Ensure that contractors and subcontractors working on-site adhere to the company's safety and environmental standards, including reviewing their safety plans and performance.
Qualifications:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health, Biology, occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent
2. Able to communicate in Bahasa and English
3. A strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, including its specific hazards, risks, and compliance requirements.
4. Have prior experience in HSE roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry experience.
5. Experience in supervising HSE activities and teams
6. Knowledgeable in high-risk activities, safety and environmental regulations, and the ability to ensure compliance with these standards.
7. Perform regular inspections, audits, and site walk-throughs
8. Strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities
9. Holding K3 Migas certificate (Level Pengawas preferable).
